Crankshafts
We are able to offer a choice of two different pattern crankshafts.

Both patterns are made from billet EN40 that is then nitrided. This gives exceptional strength and rigidity, meaning either pattern is suitable for competition use.

An original pattern item is available, requiring only that the gearbox first motion shaft spigot is shortened by some 10 mm. This item is compatible with all original style con-rods and seals.

The second pattern we offer is an up-rated part. With larger main bearings and an MGB style rear oil seal, this crankshaft is unrivalled for strength and durability. If you are a serious competition racer, or simply a mindful road driver, this is the crankshaft for you.

With the modified pattern crankshaft, you also need to up-rate you con-rods and pistons. In addition to this, the rear of the block needs machining to take the MGB style rear oil seal - this is a service we are able to offer.
